Chief Executive Officer Techbridge Girls

Nikole Collins-Puri is a social justice visionary, strategist, advocate and mentor who has committed her life to unleashing the potential of untapped communities. She’s the CEO of Techbridge Girls, a nonprofit organization that excites, educates and equips girls from low-income communities through STEM, empowering them to pursue STEM careers and achieve economic mobility and financial security as adults.

Nikole is a master collaborator who is able to leverage her rich professional experiences in tech, philanthropy and education to bring diverse groups of stakeholders together to urge social change in our communities. As explained in her recent TEDx talk on reimagining the STEM revolution for every girl, she’s committed to removing barriers and increasing access and opportunities for all those who are often left behind but essential to the success and growth of our society.

Prior to Techbridge Girls, Nikole worked at AT&T where she spearheaded their diversity and inclusion efforts, at the College Board where she advised states on their college completion strategy for Black and Latinx students, and at the Women’s Foundation of California where she advanced women’s economic security by supporting and awarding grants to visionary grassroots organizations.

Nikole holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida and MPA from City University of New York.

Roxanne Hughes

Dr. Roxanne Hughes is a Research III Faculty member at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (MagLab). She is also the Director of the Center for Integrating Research and Learning (CIRL). She has been a faculty member at FSU since 2012. In that time, she has established herself as a connector across FSU and beyond. She is committed to bridging gaps and siloes across departments to help faculty, particularly non-tenure track faculty, to thrive. In her role at FSU and the MagLab, she has demonstrated her commitment to problem-solving and collaboration to address issues at the student, faculty, and staff level. Her involvement at FSU has included serving on the FSU Diversity and Inclusion Council, the FSU National Coalition Building Institute, and the FSU Task Force on Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion. Her experience on these committees demonstrates her ability to work with faculty and other leaders and advance policies on a department, university, and national level.

Nancy Scales- Coddington

Nancy Scales-Coddington is passionate about creating dynamic partnerships and engagement opportunities, bringing awareness to STEM projects that broaden participation of traditionally marginalized audiences. She has worked as a STEM advocate in museums, classrooms, and public media for over twenty-three years. She is an award-winning producer, pushing boundaries in digital and social media content. Nancy is a science communicator, practicing, teaching, and lecturing at universities and organizations globally.

She has served as a science advisor and trainer on museum exhibits and PBS series including Climate Change, SciGirls, Hero Elementary, and Skillville. She has been part of the Science Teachers Association of New York State for over a decade, serving in various roles. Sharing how girls can reach their potential through a variety of available STEM career paths is at the heart of her work. Nancy calls the Finger Lakes of New York home, residing in Ithaca where you can find her outside hiking with her dog, paddling, or skiing.
