Thank you for your interest in the Central Texas Area K-12 STEM Outreach Forum including both Techbridge Role Model and SciGirls Educator Curriculum hosted by the Texas Girls Collaborative Project (TxGCP) with collaboration from the Transformation 2013 T-STEM Center.

Techbridge Role Model Training provides educators with valuable resources for training and preparing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) role models (presenters, speakers, volunteers, mentors) so they can successfully engage young women during events, camps, afterschool programs, classroom visits, etc.

SciGirls, a PBS KIDS weekly series and web site, is out to change how millions of tween girls think about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Educators attending the SciGirls Workshop will learn the latest research for exciting and engaging girls (and boys) in STEM; experience two hands-on STEM activities; and have access to curriculum for 20 hands-on video enhanced activities that put a create twist on teaching STEM.

K-12 STEM Outreach Forums aim to provide opportunities for organizations, individuals, companies, nonprofits, schools, universities and others engaged in or supportive of K-12 STEM Outreach to connect, learn and collaborate. Connect with others engaged in STEM in the Central Texas area, learn about upcoming STEM opportunities for educators and students, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Please the event registration available at the TxGCP web site. There is no fee to attend this TxGCP event.
