The Western Transportation Institute

The Western Transportation Institute (WTI) at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana is dedicated to building the transportation workforce of the future. WTI offers work-based learning and research opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students, and develops public outreach programs and partnerships with education providers and after school programs to expose youth to STEM opportunities related to the transportation field. WTI additionally hosts the West Region Transportation Workforce Center, a network of education providers, industry practitioners, and workforce advocates across a ten-state region. As such, the Center provides STEM outreach resources and networking opportunities to build collaborative partnerships throughout the western region.
