Inspire Tomorrow's Innovators: Add Science and Technology to Your CAP Mentoring

We would like to invite all CAP Mentors to a workshop to learn how to engage their mentees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The training is for both female and male mentors working with k-12 students. No prior knowledge in STEM is assumed.

  1. What research shows about the current state of STEM
  2. SciGirls Seven: Strategies for Engaging Girls (and Boys) in STEM
  3. STEM resources/events in Bozeman
  4. Online STEM resources
  5. Hands-on STEM activities that you can share with your mentee. 

This event is brought to you by the Montana Girls STEM Collaborative Project and MSU Extended University.
