Join us for a free educator training about leading science and literacy programs!

Pocahontas County Public Libraries, WVU Extension Service, and Green Bank Observatory are pleased to offer a FREE training in Leap into Science Workshops, during the WV Library Association's annual conference. Leap into Science is a national program that integrates open-ended science activities with children’s books, designed for children ages 3-10 and their families. These activities are designed for community settings, like libraries, museums, and out-of-school time programs.

 

Each educator will receive:

  • Access to high-quality science and literacy curriculum
  • Access to Leap into Science online resources
  • Ongoing support and participation in the Leap into Science National Network

Each organization will receive:

 

  • A kit of materials valued at $300

Attendees must be registered participants of the WV Library Association Conference
