Online Webinar (instructions emailed after registration)

This one hour webinar will detail how to bring Design Squad Global (DSG) Clubs to your community, including the support and resources available to make it successful. Participants will learn about the new DSG club guide "Inventing Green" that gets kids thinking about engineering and environmental sustainability. The guide challenges DSG Clubs to think about how to solve environmental problems with engineering, as well as how to create new inventions using a sustainability mindset.

Inventing Green

The "Inventing Green" guide will follow a similar format to the original club guide. Club leaders can still choose between the 6-week or 12-week guide. To accompany the new guide, we will have a new self-paced educator training.

Design Squad Global Clubs are connecting kids ages 10 to 13 in out-of-school-time programs around the world! In DSG Clubs, kids explore engineering through fun-packed, high-energy, hands-on activities that tackle real-world issues and they do so by working alongside a DSG club from another country. In the process of sharing their ideas and exchanging feedback with their partner club, children develop “global competency”—the ability to communicate and collaborate with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.
