Cryptography uses math, problem-solving, critical thinking and even history and language arts. Immerse your students in cryptography – an exciting hook for learning mathematics. CryptoClub is a curriculum for middle grade students (5th--8th) that uses cryptography to build these skills in a fun and engaging way. This workshop will train educators in the CryptoClub curriculum. Participants will walk away with an understanding of the curricula and materials for their students. This workshop is available through a partnership with the New York STEAM Girls' Collaborative, the Network for Youth Success, the Schenectady County Community College, and the National Girls' Collaborative Project.

A follow-up workshop will happen in the fall, at no additional charge, to promote deeper understanding of the curriculum and its content. A virtual learning community will also be available for participants to join, to support their implementation of the CryptoClub curriculum.
