Jennifer Breslin

Jennifer is the Executive Director and Founder of Futuristas, a non-profit organization that seeks to build youth STEM identity and a more inclusive STEM ecosystem. Futuristas‘ projects and work has covered the space sector, biomimicry and the environment, AI and VR/AR, future foresight, gender equality in STEM, and strengthening global partnerships. Previously, she worked in the United Nations system on STEAM and Innovation for 20 years.  Jennifer established and grew related portfolios in several UN organizations with a focus on youth, girls and women, governance and economic development. Her work spanned technical support to country offices around the world, program development, advocacy, and policy and global framework development. She has been committed to engaging youth around STEAM both in her professional and personal endeavors. She also serves on the Board of the Rhinebeck Science Foundation, the Champions Board of the National Girls Collaborative Project and the Community Advisory Board of the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum for the new science center campus.
